enCOMPASS Agency Wins Three Coveted Awards for Athletic Website

enCOMPASS Advertising Agency Website Earns Three Coveted Awards In Visual Arts Competition

Cornelius, NC, May 9, 2012 – Website designed by enCOMPASS Advertising Agency for SouthLake Christian Academy won three 2012 Communicator Awards for creative excellence and outstanding visual arts communication.

The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) announced its gold and silver winners April 30th in New York. In one of the most prestigious competitions of its kind, judges considered more than 6,000 entries submitted by ad agencies, interactive shops, design firms, production firms and other creative enterprises from around the world.

The Communicator Award honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, press relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.

enCOMPASS Agency earned a Gold Award of Excellence – the competition's highest honor – in the School/University Website category for its SouthLake Christian Academy Athletics website (www.SouthLakeEagles.org). Based in nearby Huntersville, SouthLake is a private K-12 Christian school that offers a college preparatory curriculum to its nearly 900 students.

In addition, the interactive marketing agency took home Silver Awards of Distinction statuettes for the school in the Sports Website category and for overall Website Structure and Navigation. Sports are an important part of the SouthLake culture. The school fields 32 teams in 16 sports with 85 percent of students participating in athletics.
