When did you join the enCOMPASS team?

What led you into billing?

Prior to homeschooling my two children, I had been a CPA, working In Internal auditing and corporate accounting. After they graduated from high school, I was looking for a part-time accounting related job and here I am :)

Digital marketing is amazing. Why do you love it?

I honestly didn't know much about It (other than as a customer!) before working here. I have enjoyed getting to see the behind the scenes and learn a little bit about it.

What’s your favorite part about working at enCOMPASS?

I do love working with numbers, but the people in our office are great. I love the soundtrack of our office - where people are working, but that you can tell everyone enjoys working together and just hanging out with each other. The people here are great. I miss being together in the office with this COVID stuff.

It’s the weekend! Describe your “perfect day.”

Working out in the park with a couple friends, going to the farmer's market, and relaxing with family/friends trying out various local restaurants and playing board games. Also, currently binge-watching Madam Secretary.

Tell us a fun fact about you!

I love to travel and grew up spending winter vacations snow skiing in Colorado and summer vacations fishing/canoe/reading/hanging with family on a bay in Canada (where my grandmother's family lived). Hoping to travel again once the world simmers down a bit and hoping to someday rebook the Mediterranean cruise I was supposed to be on this fall. I grew up in Columbia, MO and graduated from U of Missouri, so I am a long-time U of Missouri Tiger fan and adopted the Tar Heels when I moved to NC. Will have to consider cheering for NC State and Lipscomb as the kids are grad students at those schools.
