Great work that makes a difference. That’s what we strive for here at enCOMPASS; in fact, that’s our mission statement. What we seek in every project is to create something truly excellent, and to deploy it in a way that empowers our clients.

As such, awards and industry honors are really bonuses for us. They’re not why we get out of bed and come to work in the morning, but they’re certainly nice, and we appreciate any affirmation that comes our way. As such, we are proud to note that we have taken home a couple of Davey Awards for some of our work in 2016. These come on the heels of six W3 Awards, thirteen Communicator Awards, and join numerous Daveys won in previous years.

About the Davey Awards

The Davey Awards are all about celebrating the work done by smaller agencies and ad firms—and they encompass such categories as digital advertising, video, social media, web design, and more.

“David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small agencies do each year,” says the Davey Awards website. “The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the ‘Creative Davids’ who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets.” The Daveys represent the most prestigious awards in the world that focus solely on small agencies.

Davey Award winners are chosen by members of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. “The AIVA is a membership-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media,” the site explains.

Our Davey Award Wins

As for the specific honors enCOMPASS earned, we are proud to have been recognized for a couple of our website projects:

- Our work for Autobell won in the Consumer-Product Services category
- Meanwhile, our Carolina Custom website won in the Specialty Category for Visual Appeal

These are two of the same sites that were honored by the W3 Awards recently, so needless to say we are proud of both of them. Again, it all comes back to doing great work that makes a difference for our clients—and what we’re most proud of is the opportunity to honor the vision of these fine companies that come to us for Web design work.
